Seaplane Transfer From Male Airport

To reach Nika Island Resort from Male International Airport, a seaplane is organized by the resort. To avail of this facility, visitors have to pay extra charges which include taxes. It takes 25 minutes to reach the resort from Male Airport via seaplane. Let us explore the rates charged.

  • For Adults: USD 390
  • For child (3-12 years): USD 195
  • For infants up to 2 years: Free

To book a seat on the seaplane you are required to inform the resort authorities 92 hours before arrival and departure. The standard timing of the seaplane is from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. If you have arrived after 3:30pm and you will need to spend an extra night in the male airport.

Luggage Information

The seaplane charges include luggage allowance. Per person is allowed to carry 20 kg plus 5 kg handbag. Extra luggage will be charged USD 4 per kg.

Baggage allowance: Seaplane transportation fare includes a baggage allowance of 44 lbs (20 kg) per passenger and hand luggage up to 11 lbs (5 kg). Extra Luggage will be charged at USD 4 per 2.2 lbs (1 kg).
