For commutation between Male Airport and Fushifaru, mandatory transfers by seaplane are arranged by the resort at an extra transfer charge which is not inclusive of your room fare. The travel time by seaplane is about 35 minutes. Let’s take a look at the charges for round trip transfers by Seaplane:
- Adult (12 years and above): USD 495.00 from 24 December 2022
- Child (2-11 years): USD 297.00 from 24 December 2022
- Infant (0-2 years): Free of charge

Additional Transfer Information
Seaplane transfers are facilitated by TMA and resort is only responsible for coordination of transfers, any cancellation or delays caused due to weather doesn’t come under their jurisdiction. Seaplane transfers and Airport service is available between 06:00 hours to 15:30 hours. For same day transfers, guests must reach Male Airport between the mentioned timings.
For departures from Male, same day transfers are for flights departing from Maldives between 09:00 and 20:00. Guests with scheduled arrivals and departures after the mentioned hours may have to look for an overnight accommodation near Male Airport.
Luggage
To avoid delays in transfers, guests must inform the reservation team of Fushifaru Resort about their scheduled arrivals and departure at least 3 days in advance. About the Luggage, there is a permissible amount of weight for each passenger for Seaplane.
