By Seaplane Transfer from Male Intl. Airport
The distance between Male Airport and Gangehi Island Resort & Spa is 86 km. To reach Gangehi Island Resort & Spa, you need to board a Seaplane flight from Male Airport. It takes about 25-30 minutes to reach the resort by the Seaplane. Please note the Seaplane transfers are mandatory and are the only way to get to Gangehi Island Resort & Spa.
Resort will make arrangements for the travel and you are required to pay additional charges for the Seaplane transfer. Here are the details about the charges applicable, please make a note.
Note: Daily transfer service is offered between 9 AM and 3:30 PM. These charges are inclusive of all taxes:
Adult: USD 435, round trip, inclusive of all taxes
Child (2 to 12 years): USD 220, round trip, inclusive of all taxes
For kids under two years, no transfer charges are there.
Please note that seaplane charges include baggage allowance. One person can carry 20 kg plus 5 kg handbag. Extra charges apply for any additional weight.

Additional Transfer Information
After the guests have arrived at the Male International Airport, and are through with the Customs and Immigration formalities, they will leave the Customs area and reach the Arrivals Hall. The guest is then transferred from the Terminal to the Lounge by a bus, which takes about ten minutes.
The Seaplane transfers take place during the day time, the daily transfer service hours are from 9 AM to 3:30 PM. The Airport officials require passengers to enter at least 2 hours before the flight time.
