For transfers from Male Airport to Vilamendhoo Island Resort, Seaplane rides are available. The mandatory transfers by Seaplane are coordinated by the resort at an extra transfer charge. The travel time by Seaplane from Male Airport to Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa is approximately 25-30 minutes. Here goes the transfer charge detail:

Adult (12 years and above): USD 380.00, round trip, inclusive of all taxes
Child (2 to 11.99 years): USD 190.00, round trip, inclusive of all taxes.

Sending Transfer Details
Seaplane transfers are available only during day light hours between Standard Transfer Times: 06:00 to15:00 hours. To enjoy smooth transfers, guests must inform their arrival and departure flight schedules to the Reservation team of the resort at least three days in advance.
For same day transfers, guests must arrive at Male International Airport before 03:00 pm. Guest reaching after 03:00 pm may have to book a stay at a hotel nearby Male to catch the earliest flight in the next morning.
About Baggage, there is a restriction of baggage weight for Seaplanes. For check in luggage, the weight should not exceed 20 kg per passenger and for hand luggage, a permissible limit of 3 kg per passenger is allowed. Any weight over this limit will be charged at the Airport at the prevailing rates.
