The Seaplane is one of the preferred modes of transfers in the Maldives. The Seaplane take about 35-40 minutes of time to reach the resort from Male International Airport. You may get in touch with the resort and share your flight schedules at the earliest or a bare minimum of a week time’s in advance to ensure trouble free transfers and waiting. Domestic Flight + Speedboat Transfers

Domestic transfers include a flight from Velana International Airport to a nearby domestic airport, followed by a short speedboat ride.

Roundtrip Rates:

  • Adult: USD 395

  • Child (2–11.99 years): USD 295

  • Infant (under 2 years): Complimentary

Upon arrival, a representative will assist you at the Domestic Terminal for check-in.

Baggage allowance:

  • 22 kg checked luggage + 5 kg hand luggage per person

  • Excess baggage: USD 5 per kg

Additional Transfer Details

Please note that Seaplanes are functional only during the daytime between standard timings, i.e. (6:00 hours – 16:00 hours). Same-day transfers are possible only if your flying schedule comes under this standard time schedule. For flights arriving at Male International Airport after 15:00 hours, same-day transfers are not possible, so you have to book an overnight stay near Male International Airport at your own expense.

Likewise, for departures before 8: am in the morning, same-day transfers are not available, so guests way have to leave the resort a day before and stay at an accommodation nearby Male International town Airport to catch up their respective flights in time
